Main information

Gabala, Ismayilli, Shamakhi are the oldest cities of Azerbaijan. There are historical monuments, two thousand years old: ruined towers, elegant mosques and temples. But the main attraction remains the mountains, surrounded by greenery, noisy waterfalls and lakes with crystal clear water. Quiet nature will give you spiritual harmony, and I will tell you a fascinating story about my native land.

The city of Shamakhi will welcome us with the beautiful architecture of the eighth-century Juma Mosque. We will talk about the design features and medieval architecture, about the period of the Shirvan Khanate and destructive earthquakes. Here, in the homeland of great scientists and philosophers, you will feel the spirit of Azerbaijan and get acquainted with its culture.

The legendary waterfall "7 beauties" will shock with its greatness. Standing on the observation deck and enjoying the mountain air, you will dissolve into the hum of powerful cascades and feel unity with nature.

Nohur Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes of Azerbaijan, located high in the mountains. Wooded slopes are reflected in the mirrored water surface, reeds barely sway on the shore — the pastoral landscape will be an ideal place for relaxation and memorable pictures.

The cable car will allow you to appreciate the beauty of the Gabala district from a bird's-eye view. During the ascent, the cabin makes 4 stops at different heights, where there is an opportunity to have a snack in a cafe. Sailing over the treetops of a centuries-old forest, you will see a small village, and, if you are lucky, even wild animals living in these parts.
